Our Mission

Distance Learning is dedicated to an innovative global online learning environment at Gateway Community College. Providing students, faculty, and staff with the highest level of support for online teaching and learning. Collaborating with the Connecticut State College and University system, Distance Learning establishes and preserves quality design in the presentation of online course interaction. We strive to maintain Distance Learning as an area of distinction at Gateway Community College. 

Blackboard

The Connecticut State Community College and University’s Learning Management System. It is used to facilitate learning through the creation and delivery of web-based educational materials. All instructional methods may use the platform to enhance student engagement and support educational goals.

Blackboard interacts with specific web browsers. Please click this Browser Check link to ensure your browser is configured to complete the functionality within your online course section. Blackboard is access through myCTState (http://my.ctstate.edu)

Live Remote Support
