Gateway Community College Foundation

Established in 1993, the Gateway Community College Foundation, an independent 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit corporation, works closely with the College to identify and provide resources in areas to close the equity gap by creating a capable, diverse talent pipeline through connections to role models, mentors, internships for students, returning adults to college and inclusive leaders who teach them, work with them and hire them. The Foundation calls on funders and foundations to be responsive and creative in unprecedented ways and to be a change-maker in the traditional world of philanthropy. Gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

The Gateway Community College Foundation is a vital thread in the fabric of our college community, providing a lifeline to students who are challenged by their financial limitations. The encouragement begins with scholarships and funds for student support initiatives, professional development opportunities for faculty and staff and programmatic needs for the college.

With the help of a dedicated Board of Directors, loyal alumni, donors, friends, and volunteers, the Foundation helps to build a network of regional community support that reflects our practice and our reality of our commitment to diversity and equity.
