The ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at the Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater located at 500 Broad Street in Bridgeport.

FAQ's

Do I have to attend the ceremony?

Attendance is not mandatory. However, we encourage graduates to attend, as it would allow family, friends, faculty and staff the privilege of recognizing your achievement.

Will there be a rehearsal?

No. Graduates will be informed by email when and where to report for line-up.

How are we lined up for the program?

How long is the actual Ceremony?

The commencement program lasts about 2 hours and thirty minutes.

What if I need special accommodations?

If you are a graduate with a disability who needs special accommodations, please contact Marilyn Wehr, Coordinator of Accessibility Services, , (203) 332-5018, no later than May 10.

Where do I park?

The Ampitheater has two lots adjacent to the facilities for students and their guests to park in. There is no cost for parking.

Whart about photographs?

Professional Photographs will be taken by Island Photography. More information about ordering photos will be posted on the website and sent in email as it becomes available.

When will I receive my diploma

Students will receive a letter after graduation letting you know when and where your diploma will be ready for pickup.

Need accomodations for your guests?

Students and guests that need accommodations should go through the Office of Disability and Accessibility Services. Email or . Please note the Amphitheatre is fully handicapped accessible.
