Program Approval & Accreditation
The GCC nursing program is approved by the Connecticut State Board of Examiners for Nursing with the consent of the Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Public Health and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The CT Board of Examiners for Nursing (BOEN) met on 06/16/2021 and placed the GCC Nursing Program on Conditional approval until June 2022 for a first-time NCLEX-RN pass rate below the required 80% for the timeframe April 30, 2020 - May 1, 2021.
