Guided Pathways Advisor II
Bridget graduated from Southern Ct State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and received her Master’s degree from The University of Bridgeport in Counseling. In 2011 Bridget began working at the University of Bridgeport in the Student Accessibility office. In 2013, Bridget started her career here at GCC in the Student Development office providing support for students struggling in developmental math and English classes. Most recently, Bridget served as Coordinator of First-Year Studies Student Services and additionally, as an NSAR advisor, achievement coach and SAP Advisor. In this role, Bridget has focused her efforts on retention, managing CARE reports for all FYS students, providing counseling support, career/academic advisement and referral services. Bridget also teaches and coordinates the current First-year Experience course (soon to be CCS 101) and serves on the Advisory Council. Bridget has also been greatly involved with ATD and NECHE.
