Philip Boulanger, Yaira Matyakubova, Gregory Tompkins, Annalisa Boerner are the Haven String Quartet. The group will present a free concert for students, faculty and staff on the Gateway Community College campus on Wednesday, March 6 from noon to 3:00 p.m. on the third floor landing of the south building atrium.

Featured in the New York Times and on NPR, these musicians represent the world’s top conservatories and bring outstanding chamber music performances to New Haven neighborhoods and across New England. Each member of the Quartet is the primary teacher of a full studio of students, through Music Haven, a local non-profit that provides string instruments, private lessons, group classes, mentoring - all entirely free to New Haven’s youth.

The Haven String Quartet concert is made possible through the Esther Haseltine Schiavone Endowment for the Arts at Gateway Community College.
