Men in Nursing Scholarship Established
As part of GCC’s continuing efforts to foster greater gender diversity in the nursing profession, the Gateway Community College Foundation is offering a $500 scholarship for the 2016-17 academic year for a male nursing student accepted into GCC’s nursing program.
Applicants must also prove a need for financial support, have a minimum 2.7 GPA and meet additional criteria. The scholarship was established by Sam Osei, RN, a 2006 graduate of GCC’s nursing program, to advance the college’s Gateway Men Embrace Nursing (G-MEN) initiative.
