Students wishing to register for classes at Gateway Community College this fall are invited to come to campus for a WALK-IN, ONE-STOP REGISTRATION DAY on August 5 and August 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Faculty and staff will be available to help students register for Fall 2017. Fall classes start August 29.

Students will receive personal assistance through the registration process, including class scheduling, course selection, placement assessment, financial aid and payment plan. GCC’s Student Success Center and service offices will be open to assist new and continuing students on a first-come, first-served basis with: 

Students who are new to Gateway may prepare in advance by visiting www.GatewayCT.edu/Apply-now. Students should bring:

  • photo ID
  • unofficial transcripts (from high school or college)
  • proof of high school graduation
  • immunization records (if not previously provided by student).

Academic placement testing will be available after the application process is complete.

Gateway Community College is located at 20 Church Street in New Haven. Parking is validated for the Temple Street garage and doors will open at 8:45 a.m. at the George Street north and Crown Street entrances.
