Starting January 23, Gateway students can take advantage of free 2012 Federal and Connecticut income tax preparation and E-file. This service is provided for Gateway Community College students in cooperation with the IRS and NewLife Corporation of New Haven for individuals with an income less than $50,000. The sessions will be held in S207 on the Gateway campus and will run until April 13, 2013 (closed March 27 & 30) with the following hours:
Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
You must bring:

Government-issued photo ID

ORIGINAL Social Security Card or ITIN for everyone being claimed

All income forms, such as W-2s/1099s/other income information

Last year's tax return, if available

List of deductions (medical, donations, taxes, interest, misc. expenses)
